Latest COVID-19 Information –

We are now temporarily closed for face-to-face appointments

25th March 2020 – We have received the following advice from the Institute of Osteopathy:

We are recommending that you offer a phone or video conference consultation with patients to offer self-management advice and reassurance in all but urgent cases.

As we are unable to find a timely supply of Personal Protection Equipment, as required to treat hands-on, we have taken the decision to close the clinic doors.

Paul will be offering phone or video consultations. If you are in acute pain please do give us a call on 01304 852588, as Paul can give self-management advice and assess the severity of your condition.

We will continue to do all we can, within the restrictions imposed, to help our local community so please do contact us if you need us.

Paul & Louise Strutt

23rd March 2020 – We remain open to provide Osteopathy treatment, this is medical care and helps to support the NHS by helping those who otherwise may go to their GP or A&E.

If you have an appointment that you would like to postpone, please contact us as soon as possible to rearrange. We can offer telephone or online consultations for those who are self-isolating or unable to attend but still need assistance.

21st March 2020- Firstly, we are open for Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Massage and Footbalance fittings. Unfortunately, Pilates has been temporarily cancelled in the studio, but we are hoping to be up and running with online classes next week.

To safeguard the public and practitioners we ask that government guidelines be strictly adhered to including the washing of hands before and after treatment. There will be reminder signs in the clinic and treatment rooms outlining all the government’s hygiene advice.  We reserve the right to refuse treatment to anyone who does not adhere to this advice.

Please do not book an appointment if you feel unwell with any flu-like symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who is showing symptoms, especially a high temperature or new cough.

If you fall into this category but are in pain, please telephone the clinic and one of our practitioners will call you back with help and advice free of charge.

If you have been to the clinic and develop symptoms in the following 5 days, please call us to let us know so that our team members can self-isolate should it be necessary.

We recognise that at this difficult time many people are suffering financially and may not be able to afford to come for treatment.  Please telephone us if this is you and you need treatment as there are options available to you.

We want to continue to support our local community as best we can in an ever-evolving situation.

This is a time of uncertainty for all, so keep in touch, ask for help when you need it and we will get through it together.

With love and well wishes

Louise, Paul and the Martinvale team.
